The Parish Council covers a large rural area and the villages of Greenodd, Penny Bridge, part of Spark Bridge, Broughton Beck, Rosside, Newlands and Plumpton. The Parish is an active one with Schools, Pre School, GP, Village Halls, shops, churches, various businesses, numerous groups/organisations and a busy farming community (apologies for any omissions!).

Members of the public are always very welcome at Parish Council meetings.
