TRANSPORT DIFFICULTIES?
OUR VOLUNTARY CAR SCHEME MAY BE ABLE TO HELP

Community Transport South Lakeland is a registered charity and our Volunteer Drivers use their own vehicles to offer transport to residents of South Lakeland who have difficulty making their journey by public transport. Examples of journeys include medical appointments, visiting relatives or friends in hospital, attending lunch clubs or day centres, shopping trips or social events; and can be short or longer distances. A fare is charged to the passenger of 40p (now 30p – see below) per mile and no charge is made for waiting time. Drivers are local to your area.  See contact details below.

Good News! REDUCED COST!

For residents of the Crake and Rusland valleys our Voluntary Car Scheme now charges

only 30p per mile

(Thanks to The Rawdon-Smith Trust for the Bed of Coniston Lake for making this possible)
